My family's tradition has been influenced by my mom's American heritage - so, every year around the end of November, we celebrate Thanksgiving, with turkey, squash, potatoes, wine and good talks. This year, everybody was coming to my parents' house in Waldshut from a different place on earth: Tobi from Switzerland, Sarah from France, Jan from the UK and Isabelle and me from Karlsruhe.
