Isabelle went out to shop for small presents for her friends, so I took my camera and caught some of the area around the "Placa Constitution", the "Avinguda Primavera" and the "Carrer Gabriel Roca" (the seafront road).

Mallorca Colónia: Shopping
Mallorca Tour de Mallorca, day 3, take 2
After having been exposed to so much "city", we wanted to see some more landscape, and headed north past Inca towards Alcúdia, and finally down south via Can Picafort (named after a Dutch guy nicknamed "Picafort", or "strong beater"), Petra, Porreres and Campos back to our hotel.
Mallorca Tour de Mallorca, day 3
On the third and last day of our island tour we went to see the city of Palma, the "La Seu" cathedral, the old downtown area with literally hundreds of narrow alleys, and the other end of the "Ferrocarril de Sóller" historic train.
Mallorca Tour de Mallorca, day 2
Our second day trip took us westward - Campos - LLucmajor - around Palma, with a stop in Peguera, and over the hills on coast road MA-10 past Andtrax towards Port de Sóller, where the historic railway coming from Palma ends.
Mallorca Tour de Mallorca, day 1
We rented a car for three days from a local place in Colònia Sant Jordi - our first tour taking us through the eastern part of Majorca - Santanyí - S'horta - Porto Cristo (seeing the "Dragon Caves" there) - Cala Millor - Capdepera, and back via Artà - Manacor and Felanitx (the "x" is pronounced like "sh" in "shoe").
Mallorca Colónia: Evening Walk
Out for an evening stroll along the harbor of Colónia Sant Jordi.
Mallorca The first day
Our flight from Frankfurt to Palma, arriving at the Hotel in Colònia de Sant Jordi, a small and quiet town in the southeast of the island.
USA 2009 Last day: Trip back
On our last full day we took over from Fresno to the coast, once again travelling on CA-1 towards San Francisco and the Golden Gate bridge - this time we were lucky and it presented itself in bright sunshine, for beautiful "been there" photos:-)
